Inez Dickens’ Address To Send Letters

Posted in Neighborhood/City, Politics by ZPP on July 15, 2009

Inez E. Dickens, District 9
Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd.
163 W. 125 Street
New York, NY 10027
212-678-4505

A ZPP reader reports he called Inez Dickens’ office and they report they don’t have an email and to stop sending emails even though this email is provided on her website: dickens@council.nyc.gov

Then do it the old fashioned way – write letters. This may be their way of deterring mass complaints.

Just checked my yahoo account and received this email:

I have called the office to voice opinions on certain things and they usually make note of it. actually in one case they engaged me and argued with me about it. i was like “i didnt really call to get into a debate with you. i live in her district and im telling you as somsone who votes in every election, this is my opinion.” but they were super huffy about it.

i really want to give her the benifit of the doubt but the women is more trouble than good these days. totally useless unless she’s working on behalf of the powerful and special interests.

Anon, I sense a politician who is not accessible to her constituency anymore. She is taking her council seat for granted these days.
